Description: Famous from an incredibly young age, DMH (Wang Lee Hom) has only ever known a celebrity pop star existence. Yet, despite all the glamour, there is still something lacking in his charmed life - true love. With the help of fellow musician and friend WZB, DMH disguised himself as a regular Joe in the hope of finding true love. While incognito, DMH and WZB stumble across the performance of a classical Chinese orchestra and DMH is immediately captivated by the melodies of the guzheng soloist, LMQ (Crystal Liu Yi-Fei), a student at the Shanghai Conservatory, whose affections lie with the accomplished but arrogant virtuoso, ZXZ. In his attempt to spend more time with LQM, DMH promises to help LQM get together with ZXZ. As DMH and LQM grow closer, it becomes increasingly difficult to conceal his identity. What happens if she finds out who he really is? Can she really love and respect a celebrity pop star? And can she forgive him for lying? [HK DVD cover synopsis]
Well Duh! It?s romance..
90%
DMH, A Superstar with a capital S suddenly collides with a traditional Chinese music student. And guess what? He thinks they?re soulmates.
As guessed DMH enrolls into her school with a fake identity. The school scenes are just hilarious and you can just say wow, when you see Duh?s performance to the principal of the school.
The plot is cery predictable, but it works. There some scenes that it could have been without and then again it seem to miss some parts that I would have wished to see there. In the end it still works and entertains.
And LeeHom?s All the Things You Didn?t Know is really a wonderful song. Even if the movie wouldn?t be to you liking, go and check the song out!.
