Without spoiling anything (this is a safe review), I think that the ending could have used a bit more closure personally, and there were several parts of the movie I think could have been done a bit better had they made this movie a bit longer. Wow, a movie I actually wish was longer? Yes, it was.

I was trying to decide whether to give it an 80% or a 90%, but settled on 80% since I do think some things could have been improved, but this movie was VERY well made. The feeling that the director gives to what’s going on got me biting my nails, waiting for the next thing to happen.

Acting was all top quality except for one character I felt was a bit weaker (just my opinion), possibly because the director didn’t have enough time to give more character development. The story provided enough twists that it was not predictable completely; though I was able to guess a few elements, it was not an obvious story line.

If this movie were a bit longer, I think the director would’ve given more time to character development, as well as explanations of what’s happening, as well as the ending, since this is where I felt the movie was lacking.

Overall though, for a psychological movie, I found it very entertaining and suspenseful. I won’t be watching it again (at least for a few years) since I know how it ends now, but I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys other Japanese shows such as Liar Game, movies like Battle Royale, or mysteries.
