Warning: at the beginning I’d like to warn all of you who will read my review that I’m going to include some fun-spoilers in it. In other words you can get to know how the drama ends and so on.

Firstly, Hong Gil Dong was the first drama I’ve watched and really enjoyed. I wouldn’t say that it reminds me of Robin Hood, cause it doesn’t. (my personal opinion) Everyone who watched it knows that Gil Dong wasn’t eager to become a hero and fight for the right cause. Of course he later was somehow forced (?) to change his mind, but it’s a too long story to tell. Better watch the drama and you’ll know yourself ^^

Secondly, I loved the plot. Love triangle was shown really well, all these desissions each of them had to make… yet I’m a bit disappointed T_T my lovely prince didn’t win the girl… and in the end he was responsible for everyone’s suffering and death (? - it’s a bit unclear though, cause at the beginning you can see that they are nor dead and after few years passed they are all happy and kick badasses… ?_? ). but still I’m upset that my fav. character turned out to be a bad guy…

Next thing - the music. I simply adore Hong Gil Dong OST! such songs as What if ? Girls Generation (Tae Yeon) or Fate ? Park Wan Kyu were almost making me cry whenever I heard them. In my opinion - ones of the best fitted soundtracks ever made! (by the way: 2nd best is from Boys Before Flowers ^^).

Last but not least: actors! Sung Yu Ri (love her also in Swallow The Sun), Jang Geun Suk (You’re Beautiful <3 and of course here as my lovely prince). Yi Nok clumsy and dumb yet so adorable and lovable.

There are hundreds of other things making this drama worth watching, so if you’re looking for something entertaining and in the same time touching and pumping ypur adrenaline - this drama is for you! :).
