Sweet and touching family series! - By Fala

I have only seen Hayami Mokomichi in rather funny and carefree roles so far, but here is the proof that he also copes well with more serious parts.

His role of a unsuccessful journalist with the dream of becoming a recognised novel writer is very likeable, and althought he is not cracking jokes all the time his tall and a bit clumsy body gives off a funny vibe. He also manages tears and anger quite well.

His partner Yoshida Riko plays the spoiled but lonely child convincingly. She can only be called lovely and matches her part perfectly althought she does not look six years old. (And they can never convince me that such a cute kid was sired by such weird looking parents… -_-’)

The other characters are well chosen and very likeable. Some of their little stories are also told and take influence on the development of the main characters.

The story is at no point a real surprise and can not be called thrilling either, but nonetheless this family drama is fun to watch and never boring. It is quite touching at some points and for some people it might even be a tearjerker.

It gives you a warm and nice feeling and you want the main characters to overcome every difficulty and be together forever.

In total this is nothing revolutionary but if you are looking for a cute and enjoyable feel-good series, this is your bet..
