Description: Koizumi?s last lead role in a drama series was in 2001 in TBS?s ?Koi wo Nannen Yasundemasu ka.? This time, she will play a 45-year-old single woman who works as a TV drama producer. Starting to feel anxious about her health and her future, she visits an old house in Kamakura where she intends to live with her friend when they reach old age. This isn’t the common teen bishi thing, it’s about people getting older and realizing they have a finite amount of love and life in themselves left and a concomitant urgency about how to spend it. It doesn’t need a giant brain to figure out where the story is headed but even so it’s a lot of fun.
The flush of youth is prone to rot unfortunately and eventually all of our muses become awful things.
