Description: Ruka has yet to mature into a full-fledged vampire. His canines have yet to fully develop, which means he still hasn't tasted human blood ? or, at least, human blood that he's drawn himself. In order to get him prepared, he is cast down into the world of humans, where he boards with Jiro, the owner of a Chinese restaurant, and enrolls in high school. His homeroom teacher is a cheerful, though meddlesome, young woman who catches the fledgling bloodsucker off-guard. Is he actually falling in love with a mortal? --The Japan Times

I started watching this show because I thought the main actor was cute. During most of the time he never smiled and talked in a really monotone voice. The teacher seemed too excited to get into others’ business, and when she was confronted with unpleasant things, whether they be feelings, events, questions, she would put on this blank stare/pouty face. The show made an effort to show Ruka’s fangs up close whenever they appeared. He seemed very uninterested the entire time, which in turn made me very uninterested. It was a straight forward sort of show, with predictable twists, but sweet in its own way. I would not recommend this show to someone who likes twists, a lot of character progression and growth, and an exciting climax with a great ending..
