Great Teacher Onizuka 2012 Reviews

I’ve seen the anime the old live action adaptation and the manga I’ve also seen the anime where Onizuka was still a high school brat..

Why I gave it a low grade?

Cons

1. Onizuka was out of character. Onizuka always says he’s single and he’s 22 whenever he introduce himself and his personality was very unpredictable. He never started out as a gardener, well ,as far as I can remember I’m not sure though. He’s also a pervert!..

2. He never said that he was their "friend" but their teacher.

3. Camera angles. Especially with the 1 ep when he was having a fight the time when Noboru called him up and the action began the camera was so shaking like hell and I don’t like that although yes it makes the scene more dramatic.

4.The sequencing of events is just random or if not it’s not like what’s it is in the anime. IT IS NOT AS FUNNY AS THE MANGA NOR THE OLD ADAPTATION.

Pros

1. Great actors and actresses (I thought Noboru was cute but later on he always seemed like he’s going to cry or just constipated)

2.  They never had a police friend. It was only Onizuka ans Ruuji. Ryuuji’s name is Saejima Ryuuji and I think that the addition of the police friend makes it a little more funnier.

3. Onizukas hair is dyed. In the old adaptation it wasn’t.

All in all I really like it.. But I would still recommend this anime. Also I would like to ask you to watch the old adaptation of GTO. Oguri Shun was Noboru he was so small and young in that drama..

Thank you and please don’t hate me.. I do not particularly hate GTO 2012 I just felt that it didn’t surpass the original.
