First of all I got to tell you, that I’m a real fan of the japanese versions, but don’t think I’ll just base my opinion on that. Okay so, when the cast was announced I was really surprised, because I couldn’t imagine Sulli as "Mizuki" (still could’t remember the koren name ^^’), but not because she isn’t good at acting, just because I’ve got a really girly image of her, but she’s acting really good^^
When I heard that Minho will play "Izumi" it didn’t surprise me that much. He has to play a really sporty and though guy, and I thuink he’s perfect for the role.
Despite the great actors, there’s still something that bothers me, MUCH.
When I think about Hana Kimi, I instantly think abot a school-love story and I won’t say that it isn’t the case here, but in my opinion they pushed it too much. What I mean is Izumi origginally is just a student with high popularity with girl’s and talent for high jump, but in the korean version he’s got a manager and so on, I just think it doesn’t fir the normal High School story vibe that I’ve got in mind when I think of Hana Kimi.
Still I’ll give it a shot, maybe it changes and I’ll come to prefer this version (or not)
Also I gotta say that this is just based on first expression and the first episode.
I’ll look forward to the other episodes.
