Cast and roles are exactly the same as the film Gymnasium Baby (Taiikukan Baby), which was shown alongside this film, i guess that’s why i decided to watch it in the first place. the story is practically same old same old and it’s started During the summer high school swimming trials, senior ace swimmer Shibahara Jun (Nakamura Yuichi) comes up short. Jun?s father (Watanabe Ikkei), who also happens to be the swimming team coach, says that rather than swim, concentrate on studying for his college entrance exams instead. Depressed and uncertain, he is suddenly contacted via cellphone email by a mysterious girl who is also named Jun and has the same birthday as him. From that day on, they decide to become email friends. As Jun struggles to get back on his feet, he finds himself often expressing everything he?s thinking and feeling, all of his frustrations and worries, to ?Jun? on his cellphone. Gradually, Jun realizes that he has fallen in love with a girl he has never actually talked to or seen, this kind of sad love stories between strangers i’ve already watched a lot of it that i’ve actually got so bored of them, we all know what’s the end of the sick girl, of couse a non happy ending and that’s too predictable and i hate watching movies or dramas that i may know even a little about its ending. i can’t say if it’s worth watching or not but it’s forgettable and i never thought it would be since i had a lot of expectations but don’t give me wrong it’s not like i don’t like sad stories but if it’s sad it should at least move you from the bottom of your heart not just make you sad for a moment then evrything vanish..
