This movie was an unexpected great film. I had seen the Brad Pitt movie about being a grim reaper who comes to earth to meet his "prey", so to speak. However, this movie takes on a more comedic and interesting view into what a "grim reaper’s life" would be like.

Takeshi Kaneshiro is FABULOUS in this role. His character changes depending on the people he encounters. He plays each one wonderfully. Each story has its own twist which makes you raise an eyebrow wondering - what? You will also fall in love with his trusty side kick, the dog, who is used wisely.

The ending was wonderful and a bit of a revelation. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I thought it would be more grim but this is really more lighthearted than one would think. In the end you will have a sweet grin across your face from the satisfaction of watching this movie. This is one I will recommend to others for sure!.
