I always hesitated to read the manga. I ended up watching the drama first and I don’t regret it. First of all, the way this drama was filmed is really good. It’s like ... SPROUT ! It gave me a fuzzy feeling when watching the relationship between Suga and Narumi during their highschool days. The only difference is that Piece might be more realistic, less "naive", even less a shoujo type, which gives a different view of things. I’d even say Piece sometimes has a dark atmosphere (well it’s in the mystery category too after all). I’m really curious to know the real story of Origuchi and I wonder if this drama will really have some romantic scenes…

The main female character is someone who’s passive and who doesn’t understand what’s love. I really like how she always asks herself questions (just like in SPROUT!!!) and how she strives to change. The main guy is a player with a strange heartless mother, he’s still a mystery to me. It seems to me that only Suga and the glasses boy seem "normal" and "innocent". All the other characters are so mysteriouuus !

It’s really too bad subbing takes so long when each episode is only 20min ... This drama definitely deserves some spotlight. Please give it a try you won’t regret it !

EDIT : finally got time to edit this review ! Finished the drama a few weeks ago. Although the romance fangirl in me isn’t satisfied by the ending, it was a pretty good and clever way to end it (knowing the characters’ personality).

*fangirl mode ON* I just love the scene they keep replaying where Narumi asks Suga if she’s going to get on the bus or not (sounds cute and cool at the same time haha). Or when she cuddle up with him on the bed (so sweeeet). *fangirl mode OFF*
