Great Eye Candy but Lousy Chemistry!

Although the F4 boys were all great eye-candy, the heroine was the worst of all the HYD adaptations I have ever seen (Makino, the Jap version heroine, was for me the best). There was zero chemistry bet. her and Jun Pyo. She was mostly deadpan, she was obviously much older than him, and all their supposedly romantic scenes were too awkward and artificial to be believable. I know Koreans are quite conservative but this was going a bit too far. Her scenes with Jihoo, the 2nd male lead, were much better. To think that Lee Min Ho (Jun Pyo) was such a good actor and he tried to carry the scenes he was in and mostly succeeded, Jandi had too many scenes and she ruined them with her lacklustre acting and obvious awkwardness during their scenes together with Jun Pyo. Her wardrobe was also horrible! Okay, she was supposed to be poor, but did they have to showcase her obvious lack of taste? Why didn’t her best friend, who dressed and looked so much better, even bother to advice her on her dressing style? They made her look so frumpy and ugly. But the musical score and cinematography was excellent, and if only for that, do watch this drama..
