Description: In 1375, China was in chaos between Yuan Dynasty and Ming Dynasty. Coryo (an ancient kingdom of Korea then) sent a delegation of many diplomats, soldiers and a silent slave (Woo-sung Jung) to make peace with the new Chinese government. However, this delegation got charged as spies and sent in exile to a remote desert. On the way the group came across a Yuan troop, and the Coryo soldiers managed to survive the battle. They began the journey toward the faraway home country, where they met the Yuan troop again. When they found out the Yuan troop kidnapped a Ming princess (Ziyi Zhang), they decided to rescue her so that they could get a ship to go home. Then the battle began?

Good Actors Wasted by Poor Direction...... - By cesimone101

The film started out with some promising beginnings -  good actors and an interesting storyline.  You cannot fault the actors since they breathe life into this too long winded film that could have used a good editor and a music director and drop the director.  Wow!  I don’t think the director received much work ever since directing this film.  If you take time to watch this film in its entirety, you will know what I am referring to.  I sound too harsh and I don’t know the background of making the film and now, I am wondering if they went over budget.  Which can explain the use of such bad, bad, bad music since they couldn’t afford an actual music director.  lol…..

So, if you want to watch nice background scenery with good looking actors like Jung Woo Sung, Joo Jin-Mo, and others…, this film may fit the bill.  I would entertain if they want to re-edit this film and add interesting music—it may draw more interest to this whopping beauty of a dud film.  Just my 2 cents.  ;)
