First off, kirin means gryphon in Japanese (giraffe in Korean) so the description confused me a bit.
I watched this movie because I already watched Shinzanmono the drama, and I highly recommend that you watch the drama first before watching the movie but it doesn’t matter that much.
I really enjoyed the movie since I’m just Shinzanmono-biased, but it’s still good in terms of plot where the detectives go through many twists and turns but brings a sense of closure in the end. There isn’t any extreme action like gun shooting or mass serial murders, so if you were looking forward to those, then… sorry to disappoint, mate. It mainly emphasizes on family and redemption. You might cry.
