However, they are all part of a game of survival, in which they must use their diaries to try to kill each other and be the last one remaining, earning a place on the ?God?s seat.? Forget all that you know!
If you’ve watched the first episode, you probably know that there have been a few plot changes in compared to the manga & anime. Personalities don’t quite match up, the settings are a little different and so are the revelations. If I knew nothing about the manga and anime, I’d probably give it a 6. But having experienced the story in its previous media, I am extremely disappointed. This is expecially true with the two leading characters. From devoted to uncertain, shy to eccentric, desperate to caring,& calm and collect to hysterical, even bit characters aren’t untouched.
I like a good live action adaptiion as much as the next person but this isn’t one of them. The only reason I would continue watching is to see how the producer and writers intent to improvise the plot. Unless they want us to forget everything we know, with the amount of plot twists in the manga/anime, I would be surprised if the drama finds itself at a dead end..
