Goemon is an excellent retelling of the Goemon myth. It utilizes a unique and modern approach in recasting this famous myth.

Directed by the same director as Casshern, the cinematic style is very similar. The artistic color direction is amazing and complements the action and story on the screen.

The story jumps out of the gate quickly and then settles down to a slow pace, often times too slow. But, the tapestry that is woven throughout the plot is diverse and intricate.

The action is on par with other martial arts films. It is captivating and fast-paced. You will not be disappointed..
