This late-night program is just what you want—a creepy and disturbing show that dives further into the unsettling world it exposes. You think you know where this is headed in the first episode, and then it just goes ... elsewhere. Some place nastier. The show unfolds deliberately, dropping hints of the larger story ahead as it goes along.
The series is not quite what the description says. There’s a lot of police and detective workin the program, as you’d expect, but it turns out to be the story of Ito Shizuka, the girl in the picture. The actress who plays her, Kaho, has the flat emotional affect and a dead-eyed stare her character should have. She’s deliciously creepy!
Be warned though. The first episode has a shocking incident and later episodes ramp up the violence and blood. But I’m enjoying this alot (I’m on Episode 4 right now; just seen the previews of 5.) and cannot wait to see how it ends. Very strongly recommended, if you can handle it.
