Description: Kiritani Shuji is the popular guy who gets along with everyone, from the jerks to the nerds to the just plain weird. The one person Shuji cannot stand is Kusano Akira. To Shuji, Akira is just plain annoying. He laughs, talks and acts funny. Things heat up when a new student comes to school. Her name is Kotani Nobuko, a girl who has no self confidence at all and is content at being made fun of and bullied in school. Shuji and Akira come to an accord that in order to make use of their "youth" they will "produce" Nobuko as the next popular girl. One of the conditions, however, is that nobody should find out that they are working together as a team to make this concept possible. Unveiled here is the story of true friendship between three unlikely candidates who would not have been friends if not given the special circumstances.
Definitely an all-time favorite (:
I really, REALLY love this drama.
Obviously, like most of the people who love this drama, my favorite thing in this drama is also the cast (:
Horikita Maki, Kamenashi Kazuya and Yamashita Tomohisa.
The plot is very interesting, and the characters make it even better.
Akira’s little *kon-kon*‘s were adorable ^__^ and the way he went up and down the stairs moving his arms like they were his wings. The thing i liked most about him was the way he laughed. (:
I really love how at the beginning Shuji really hates Akira, and calls him annoying and stuff, but in the end Akira and Nobuta are really the only 2 people in the school he can show his real self to, and eventually became best friends with Akira. Nobuta’s shyness really bothered me at first, she seemed really scary, but i love how in the end she was really popular with the lunch thing. Wow, Horikita Maki is really an awesome actress, for pulling off this role (: It was really different from what she was like in Hana Kimi. ^__^
The ending seemed gay O.O especially the scene where shuji and akira were at the beach…But even so, i loved it .
not because i want them to be a couple or anything (well i would..but…)
The reason i liked the ending was because, instead of having the typical ending where the main male character ends up with the main female character, in this drama that didn’t happen, because friendship was more important.
Just when Akira and Shuji had become friends, Shuji had to move away, but seems their friendship really was strong because Akira followed him, and went to his new school before he did. ^__^ I loved the look on Shuji’s face when he saw Akira at the back of the classroom. :D and he even thought it was an illusion (:
Overall, i really love this drama, and wouldn’t mind watching it over again a couple of times (:.
