Move through Fantasy and Reality while watching Asian Drama!
Description: The story follows a brain surgeon named, Minakata Jin, who has spent the last two years in anguish, as his fiancee lies in a vegetative state after an operation he performed. One day, he faints at the hospital and awakens to find himself transported back in time to the Edo period. He is soon attacked by a samurai, but he escapes with the help of a man named Kyotaro. Kyotaro suffers a serious injury to the head while trying to protect him, but Jin manages to save his life despite a lack of proper medical equipment. Because of that, Kyotaro's sister Saki begins taking an interest in Jin and becomes his assistant. Meanwhile, Jin is determined to find a way back to the present.
Definitely A Superb Dorama!
If you want to spend your time watching a life-changing dorama, "Jin" is for you. Cleverly make, this dorama will set your mind thinking of it during your daily life. The question "what will I do in a situation like this" often comes out when I was watching it. After that, in my daily situations, I found myself making decisions considering the similar cases in this dorama.
The classic "one action, double consequences" moral principle appears almost throughout this drama. It will make you think. But, strangely, it still can be enjoyed as an entertaining drama, even the theme seemed "heavy".
The story focuses on a doctor, a brain surgeon, who sent back to the past in the time during the last days of Tokugawa Shogunate, in the period we know now as the Bakumatsu Period. I don’t want to spoil it more than this. I just want to say that the story brings up often the butterfly-effect phenomena: a movement of the wings of a butterfly can make a storm in the other side of the world. So, what happen if an experienced and talented brain-surgeon travel back 150 years? Surely, we can expect more than just a mere wave of a butterfly!
Enjoy the series! I assure you that you will find yourself eager to watch until the end!.
