I don’t usually care for Chinese dramas (including Taiwanese) so wasn’t expecting much when I started watching this show.  Now that I’ve seen up to episode 8, I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised.  It’s very fast paced and the stunt works are high caliber - you can tell where the production money went into.

The acting by some of the side characters is lacking, but the main couple is fine.

For those of us who usually watch Kdramas, Chinese dramas seem to have faster dialogues (in rather loud voices) and abrupt scene cuts.  If you look past these differences, this show is rather addicting;  I saw all 8 episodes within a day.

This drama must be popular because the subbing is fast and there are alot of people downloading on torrent sites.  I’m glad because I hate to start a drama and have to wait years for it to be completely subbed.
