Description: Nojima Satoshi is a photographer who wants to photograph scenery but currently works for a modeling agency where he takes picture of his best friend, a model in his 30, Shingo. One day, Satoshi decides that he no longer wants to put up with what he doesn't want to do, and sets out to go to Canada to shoot pictures of the Canadian scenery. Living next door is a woman, Nanao, also approaching her 30, who is too busy with her work at a flower shop to consider dating. One day, a man working at a convenience store nearby stops by her flower shop and confesses his feelings for her. Satoshi and Nanao know about each other's existence by the sounds their neighbor makes through the thin wall. Even though they do pay attention to the sounds next door, they actually have never met each other, or make any attempt to meet the other person. The movie tells two separate stories that happen in parallel and focuses on the lives of two people approaching their thirties, and the doubts they have about work, life, and love.

I have been searching for a movie to watch that’s so relaxing and does not follow the typical story line. This story shows you two people who chose their own path of life by living casually yet freely. When I was watching this movie it gave me a glimpse to the reality of these two’s trouble that’s surrounding them but also how they have to sacrifice things to move on and help the people around them. Though you might think I’m over exaggerating or reviewed it too high, for me I’m in love with these kind of story line that brings fate to two unusual people that are so common in many ways that they don’t know of.

This story also reminds me of the Taiwanese movie "Turn Left Right" as to how they both have two people living next each other that only known by the sound that either of them make and they have never seen each other, though they pass each other on the street everyday. Both of them have met each other when they were in high school or middle school but is separated when they left or at the end of the school trip. At the end realizing that their first love lived next door to them in oto na ri, they desperately search for each other. In turn left turn right they found each other’s telephone number at the end and tries to contact each other one last time before moving, but the line cuts as the earthquake happens only to break down the wall that seperates these two neighbours’ and realize that they have been living next to each other all this time.

Hope this review helped and if you need more info on "turn left turn right" movie you can post a message on my wall. Sorry if this review is too long. ^^.
