I thought I am watching the "ER" of the U.S version its just that this one is back at the Joseon Dynasty period. Korean Dramas are truly a halyu this days. Except of course with the original version of the Japanese drama, the Korean have a good presentation and co-relate it well with their history. It may be odd to think how a 20th century neuro-surgeon apply his knowledge and skills at the "primitive" period, it could have been havoc and will truly cause rebuke from the old joseon people to appreciate the modern surgery. The X-Factor of this drama is that the love story, friendship and family relations are tested and how politics will destroy the whole situation. Warning do not watch if you hate to see blood and surgery but i still recommend this one, it actually makes me remember my dream before to be a doctor- saving lives is truly a great passion.
Kim Jae Jong’s performance improved a lot compare to the drama "Protect the Boss" his outstanding in Time Slip Dr. Jin.
