After Maou, this was a completely different role for Ohno Satoshi—but he proved to have superb comedic timing. The themes of this show are rather cliche considering is is a jdrama and was focused on family relationships and hard work. The individual characters were all well written and extremely interesting and also incredibly funny. I don’t think there was a single episode that I didn’t laugh out loud. The songs were also hilarious and really did bring me back to my childhood.
Overall, the acting was good, the script was funny, and the music was highly amusing. It definitely fits the bill if you are looking to relax and unwind with an uncomplicated story full of laughs..
