well actually it's not silly since Jinju has been fighting since she was a child (see the first episodes where she beat Dongsoo and the village kids), then as a thief she also had to fight quite often, plus I guess that seeing so many people dear to her dying or getting hurt to protect her just made her resolution to become strong enough to not need anyone's help. Plus with parents as hers, the opposite would be weird.
Anyways, I must say that I enjoy the last few episodes much more than the ginseng crap we got in the eps after the crown prince death. Plus, Yoo Seung Ho with mane of glory is <

yes i guess your right but like someone commented maybe because their are a lot of people she loves are dying she learned using a sword and i don't believe she doesn't know how to use a sword she used it when she fought with dong soo the first time they met again....

She did used a sword during the mission to protect the Heir Prince in the visit to the tomb. And I doubt she learnt nothing from Hwang Jin Gi aside from archery. Just because it wasn't shown explicitly that she could fight with swords doesn't mean she couldn't. I'd find it even more unbelievable if Ji Seon suddenly become a skilled swordswoman.
