Okay I've been trying to watch this show over the past two months and I have yet to get past this first episode. I just keep getting bored,and this show has to be ranked in the top 100 for a reason, right? So recently I've been paying more attention to Lee Seung Ki, so I've finally decided I'm gonna force myself to watch this it if kills me just so that I can say I watched it ... and since it might kill me I'm going to start tomorrow.

I'm not talking about ALL Korean people because I have korean friends but we can all agree that they tend to be less open minded to other races. Hope that changes in the future...

Although that might be true, in Hana Dori Yango, the 2nd season starts of with the girl in NY, and the Japanese sterotyped the gangs in NY very heavily, and made all the men black. Well, all the men who robbed/threatened to kick her head in black. Although they didn't use the term "barbaric", there is certainly some negative sterotyping going on. ASIAN DRAMAS. Get a clue. Stop being so discriminative

Dramacrazy reviews aside, the general concenus I've gleaned about Shining Inheritence, is that it's a great one-time watch with a rollercoaster ride of emotions and plots, but the fact there's 29 episodes mean it's no short ride. So people are saying they're glad they watched it, but wouldn't re-watch it because it takes up so much time. Good enough for me!

Wow, I'm kind of surprised at peoples feelings for this drama. I haven't found it boring at all and have re-watched it a couple times even. I think even though it can be a little cliche it also has some really unique elements, and the actors make the characters their own :)
