if i'm wrong maybe, the future Eun-soo wrote a diary for her past self so that the past Eun soo won't have any regrets, make the right decisions to save Choi Young..because from what i have understood, the time future Eun soo wrote the diary, maybe Choi Young was already gone.. and that she regret it, as you can see, she returned in her world by herself .. but past Eun soo successfully manage to save Choi Young's life..and that she was with Choi Young before she return to her world..
