Seriously, these last few episodes, I just started to like them as a couple (I always thought Ji Hoo x Jan Di)
But now I'm glad I hated him ^^ Ever since the beginning

Im sure he said that to make her give up on him, because now hes leading a life that takes too much of him, so hes got no time or energy left for Jan Di. He knows it will be bad for her and their relationship, and there is no one else to fill his shoes in the company, so its a matter of priority: do his duty and make Jan Di leave him before she has suffered too much.
