oh no! its the last episode! this drama got me go crazy! so happy with this drama!

sad ending.

Hated the ending:((( It wasted time for Ji Hyun within 49 days and made disappointed for everyone...

what kind of ending is this? Director (or Writer) should be the one to go into the elevator, not ji hyun!

ok after seeing this comments i dont even want to watch it anymore i mean...i was hoping that everything is gonna be fine now but is like c'mon how is it ending sad..what is happening...it is like a consturctive sadness or what? i mean even if is ending sad it should be a glance of happiness or somethig...c'mon....T.T

I like the ending, very meaningful
except the whole out of nowhere "sister" plot
But ignoring that, the ending was pretty warm

I think the ending is not sad at all. In reality, no body can ever come back from death. This drama is giving out a message, this ghost went through her 49 days to come back to the living to bring people together, save a woman from despair, and her family from total disaster by the hands of man who did her wrong. Ultimately that is the purpose of the 49 days; if you watch the drama Who Are You? it has the same meaning, the father wanders on earth for 49 days to save his daughter and take revenge against those who did him wrong. It is also, what Kang's manager guy friend told him when discussing the possibilities of her being Ji Hyun's ghost etc. That the legend of the 49 days was exactly this: a ghost lingering on earth because it had unfinished business. So, this should tell you that death is never accidental!!! When you died, there is no doubt it was your time. That is the message of the drama. Live with it, its life. Nothing sad about it, its just how it is.

Perhaps the story its a bit disappointing because it was -in my opinion- too dramatic, too exaggerated, too overwhelming for no reason, they could have made it more simple. Who Are You? was an excellent drama full of love, and extremely underrated.
I don't care "how trendy" this drama is, and you can hate me if you want, but Who Are You? has nothing to envy this drama. I'm sorry to say this here, to all the die hard fans of 49 days. No offense to you guys. I will go watch Who Are You? now, since it is a drama which projects the same meaning, and it does it damn well.

Just read the ending (didn't even watch it yet) but I didn't like it.. sorry I just didn't like last 2 episode's It's just feels like something was missing.. I thought there would be more story behind Yi Soo

You should watch it anyway. I cried and cried. It puts perspective on life and how precious it is, and how connected we all are in some way, and that each life can make a difference for good or bad. I had to put aside what I may have wanted to see happen romantically, and look at what the message of the show is. Brilliantly written, emotionally sad, but inspirational too. I'm going to have to get a handle on my emotions, before I'm able to watch it with the subs.

the writer is crazy and i mean bad crazy. if she was gonna die then why drag it out for 20 episode when she had an accident on the ist episode. this show sucks big time. what nonsensical rubbish.

After I read some comments I just don't dare to watch it, I don't want her to die, she can't die, come on, how can she leave now, after all this...I was so happy, when she woke up, I thought that now everything is going to be fine...Now I'm so sad I want to cry :*(
