Thanks for the up load and subs. This movie is a little more serious than the drama, I would watch the series first, then the movie. The low keyed humor of the show counters the drama of the police investigation, and also gives you the his skill as a detective.

I enjoyed the movie but I still think the series is a lot better. Thanks.

Such a wonderful, melancholic series. The best Japanese detective series I've seen so far. Abe Hiroshi is terrific. It's best to watch the drama and special before the 2 movies. This movie references a bit from the drama episodes and you understand Kage's character and motivations better.

I wish they had used the song 'Machimonogatari-The story of Town', like they did at the end of all the drama episodes. But movies are different.
