Sand Chronicles (Japanese Movie)

Description: Based on Ashihara Hinako's award-winning shojo manga, Sunadokei tells a wistful tale of first love that spans over a decade's time. Also known as Sands' Chronicle, Sunadokei was earlier adapted into a daytime drama which attracted impressive ratings and rave reviews, paving the way for this big screen version from director Saho Shinsuke (Star Reformer, Snowy Love Fall In Spring). Up-and-coming stars Kaho (Tennen Kokekko) and Ikematsu Sosuke (Dive!) play the story's leads in adolescence, while Matsushita Nao and Isaka Shunya take on the adult roles.
