Description: Set in Hiroshima during the economic growth in the year 1962. Ichikawa "Yasu" Yasuo, a shipping company worker, and his wife are blessed with a son, Akira. However, one day when Yasu brought his son to work a tragic accident occurs where Yasu's wife dies while protecting their son. From that day Yasu is forced to raise his son himself while living with the pain of his wife's death.
