Anime classic, Princess Sarah is actually a remake of the 1940 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, Little Princess. This is a live-action remake of the said novel.

How many people can look the a person like the director in the eye and say "I like you". It takes a special person but I'm sure most of us would have hit her with a mop a long time ago.

In the last episode I compared Seira to the sickeningly sweet character Shirley Temple played in her "Little Princess" movie. But at least Shirley told off Lavinia (Maria) when she had it coming!
