except if they're asadoras...japanese asadora dramas typically air 6 days a week (mondays - saturdays)...but each episode for asadora dramas are only about 15 minutes long though.

some jdramas are different like asadoras, but yeah, most jdramas still air once a week.

you mean the hollywood movie? seriously? just which part of this drama resemble 'Pretty woman' exactly?

that scene where the guy takes the woman to shopping is overdone a million times!

seriously, just because of that one shopping scene only? and someone thinks it's like 'pretty woman'? my god, that would just be plain silly if that's the case...and you're right, that sort of scene has been used so so many times already in dramas and movies...hollywood has recycled it quite a lot too.

you're probably right, if the main actor was a much less popular actor, then the overall interest and hype with this drama would probably be about only half the amount or less. but because it's Shun, I'm sure he's a major influence for attracting the interest...but he's certainly not the only reason why so many are enjoying this drama =)
I think Shun definitely was the main reason for much of the hype and interest to begin with, but now that people have watched the first episode itself and realize how good it is, I think most ppl are loving it now because they enjoy the drama itself too =)

well for me it is....<3 him much n all his previous works but now am watching it for drama it self...its pretty promising n like some one said jeng jeng jeng..hehe

if you want to watch other really good romance jdoramas that do not concern high schoolers, then there's plenty of old ones, such as 'Tatta Hitotsu no Koi', 'Love Generation', '101 marriage proposal' (the original 1991 jdrama, not the Korean remake), 'Orange days', 'Beautiful life', and many more.
But some of the high school romance jdramas are very good too.
