no your spot on....i love them both...i dont think its whether koreans do it better or japanese do it better...its simply what it is...there are some great kdramas and there are some great jdramas as well as bad for both so to say such things is crazy..at first i was more into jdramas because i was into manga and anime...but then i discovered kdramas are good too...and since when is 20 episodes long and draggy? have you seen how long series go on for in the states? so everyone needs to chill out your arguments dont even make sense let it go...

I would be ok with things if people don't say Koreaboo bias crap at a JAPANESE drama page. I don't like kdramas, but I don't go to kdrama pages and say that kdramas copies jdramas or this kdrama is japanese-style. I just avoid kdrama pages altogether.
Sure some kdramas are good, but the main problem I have with them is their repetitiveness of the same old cliche romance plotlines and ideas, and I get bored with that. and I think some of them are a bit draggy, sometimes they drag on too long with certain plotlines in kdramas and I think that's what Crystallia meant by kdramas being draggy. but that's just my opinion.

duh it's understandable for him to pick the clothes for her, he is CEO of a multi-billion $$ company for goodness sakes, and she is this total freshman who has no work experience in the industry. He had to groom her to appear sophisticated as if she is a high level worker at his company. and they were meeting with high government officials, so he was putting his company's reputation on the line because of her. So of course he would want to dress her to his standards, especially since he was marketing her to the government officials as the "inventor" of this new technology for their new project.
it's not like they were going to a friend's party or something.

honestly, judging by Chihiro's sense of dress taste in the first ep, I think she really needed Hyuga's help...the way she dressed, the ponytail and black suit, and all the dresses she picked at the store...she just does not appear like a smart high-ranking worker from a multi-billion $$ company who invented a technology. I'm sure she dresses in nice clothes...but it just wasn't the most compatible attire for the occasion.
But once Hyuga groomed her, she started looking the part.

there's still alot of good romance jdramas and jmovies from recent years too...I just don't understand why some people think this is one of the few "decent" romance jdrama in a "long" time, when there has always been good romance jdramas and jmovies out there. is it because many of the more recent romance jdramas have been high school love stories and perhaps not "mature" enough for these ppl? or is it something else?
