Haikei Chichue sama (Japanese Drama)

Description: Working as a chef in a prestigious restaurant that calls upon the traditions of Japan, Ippei moves through life with loyalty towards the family he works for, dedication to his occupation, and uncertainty regarding his past. His mother, Yukino-chan - a former geisha - refuses to share with him the identity of his father. As life progresses, and as politics and change take over the world as he knows it, Ippei finds himself addressing his mysterious father. "Dear Father..." he begins... and slowly begins to unwrap the layers of his life. This artistic drama is told in the form of a descriptive letter to his unknown father mixed with the main character's cynical humour, and contemplative nature.
