EDIT: woohoo I dunno this dojima guy. I watched the anime like 4x and the original live action, and erk.. I'm really clueless about this arc. Is it from the manga? well, yeah just finished up to chapter 77 of the manga. -.- so, maybe he is. -.-

anyways, these are the things that bother me with this latest adapt. How come I don't see much of Yoshikawa and Kikuchi?? They are supposedly the first 2 students who'll allied with Onizuka. And what's with Kanzaki's short hair and complete attendance? O_o

yeah, I love the actor portraying Murai here and Kikuchi. Also with Miyabi. Especially the actor as Onizuka. good job!! great casting! :)

The only one I hate is the actress as Fuyutsuki. I mean, not actually the actress, gomen.. But how they portray the character of Fuyutsuki here. Oni should be inlove or at least has a great crush with Fuyutsuki. And the latter should be more feminine and independent.

Well, I'll wait eagerly how this will continue. I totally love the manga especially the anime of this so please bear with all of my rantings. :fire:

I agree to most of what of what you've commented. Yoshikawa and Kikuchi characters here were made to look like side characters. I'm also disappointed with how Kanzaki look and I guess that the reason for her complete attendance is because they used that "always-absent" story line with Miki Katsuragi character.

I love Fuyutsuki, but I guess they decided to downplay it a bit because of their age differences in real life.

This episode from shonan 14 days manga.agreed kanzaki plays its little dissapointed me..but think in the manga onizuka never crush on fuyutsuki, only fuyutsuki is really admire onizuka.

As I said before, I like this new version. Some elements may be missing but I don't feel it. It just goes with the flow and it is kinda great.
Moreover, it is more emmotional and based on the characters' feeling which is so awesome. I cried like a baby with the last scene. One of the best, seriously.
I love how the mother isn't that nice afterall. I could never understand the kind who dump their own child !
Anyway, Onizuka is right, "he is better without parents". It is hard but he has friends <3
