because the japanese don't like to make their dramas draggy...they want to be able to make dramas for every season of the year, so they're usually only 10-11 eps long (sometimes 9 or 12) so that they can air within a 2-3 months time-frame during each season.
I do hope TBS will make a season 2 for this drama because it's really good!

I think this is one of very few j dramas that I watched that has a very satisfactory ending...
I'm so used in detective dramas that leave its audience wondering in its complex last ep.
